The parks of northern Tanzania represent the beating heart of Africa’s wildlife wealth. This extraordinary region includes the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire, destinations that attract safari hunters from around the world for the density and variety of wildlife.

The Serengeti, in particular, is a boundless ecosystem home to all of Africa’s Big Five: elephant, lion, leopard, black rhino and buffalo, along with millions of other herbivores such as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and gazelle. Ngorongoro Crater, on the other hand, offers the highest concentration of predators on the African continent, with exceptional odds of lion, leopard and hyena sightings.

Tarangire is famous for its extraordinary density of elephants and spectacular views of majestic baobab trees. These parks offer unforgettable experiences throughout the year, but they reach their peak in the dry season, from June to October, when animals concentrate around water points creating scenes of extraordinary natural beauty.
